Judith evidently died before the middle of September of 1752 in Essex County, Virginia. Essex County Records, Order Book 18 (page 191) contains a motion made by John Fauntleroy on September 26, 1752, for the administration of the estate of Judith, his deceased wife. This was granted to him and it was ordered that Thomas Granger, James Trice, George Dabney, and William Dabney be sworn first in front of a Justice of King William County and sent to appraise the estate of Judith, the wife of John, formerly Juda Littlepage.

From her grandfather, Nicholas II, Judith received 459 acres of land in King William County and eleven Negro slaves, whose names are listed in the will; “Two mulatto Boys by name Charles and Jamy” were added to her collection of slaves and acreage.

Item. I do give and bequeath unto my Grand Daughter Judith Littlepage Four Hundred and fifty nine acres of land in King William County over against my son William Meriwethers plantation together with the Houses and Orchards as also eleven Negro Slaves (viz) Fill, Toby‚ Jamy, Jenny, Bety, Will, Aggy, Vilet, Abby, John, Sarah, with their further increase that are now on the said land to Her and the Heirs of Her Body Lawfully begotten and if it should please God that she should die without Lawfull Heirs of her body or if she should have Heirs of Her Body and they should die without Heirs of their Body so that whenever the Heirs of their Body should fail, then I do give and bequeath unto my Son William Meriwether the aforesaid Four Hundred and fifty nine acres of Land together with the Plantation to Him and his Heirs forever. Also I do give unto my two sons William Meriwether and David Meriwether the above said Negro slaves together with their futer Increas to be equally divided between them and their Heirs forever.

Item. I do give and bequeath unto my grand Daughter Judeth Littlepage two malatto Boys by name Charles and Jamy to be Delivered Her at Her marriage or when she shall come to the age of Twenty one years and to the Heirs of Her Body Lawfully begotten and in case my said Grand Daughter should die without having such heirs, then I do give the above said two Malatto Boys Charles and Jamy to my Grandson John Meriwether and to his Heirs forever.

“Item. I do give and bequeath unto my Grand Daughter Judeth Littlepage Four Hundred and fifty nine acres of land in King William County over against my son William Meriwethers’ Plantation” &c. Sarah died before her father, leaving a daughter Judeth, when she was born and died is not known.

Judith was born about 1732 and married JOHN FAUNTLEROY of Essex County, Virginia, about 1750. John is thought to have been the son of Colonel WILLIAM FAUNTLEROY and his wife, APHIA BUSHROD FAUNTLEROY. Judith and John had two daughters:

1) APHIA BUSHROD FAUNTLEROY, born about 1751, who married Henry Todd of King and Queen County, Virginia, and Burke County, Georgia, on April 12, 1770

2) SALLY FAUNTLEROY, born about 1752, who married first her cousin, George Neal Fauntleroy, on March 8, 1768. After George died in 1770, Sally married Colonel Walker Tomlin.

After the death of Judith, he married Elizabeth Waring; John and Elizabeth had two children: Katherine and Thomas.
