I found the marriage for Washington Oglesby & Maria Ogg in Jefferson Co. Marriage Book 1, pg. 101. That page is very hard to read and it looks like they squeezed this entry between two others. I didn't get a chance to look for the actual marriage bond.
In the printed book published by the Filson Club in 1941 it lists the bondsman as Wm. Button; witness as Samuel Tyler; Maria's father as Thomas Ogg. The date of the bond was 1-30-1819 and the marriage was performed on 2-2-1819 by Benj'm Allen.

Thank you for your response to my inquiry about the Oglesby Family.
According to what I have found so far, my Laurinda/Lorinda Oglesby was the daughter of Washington Oglesby and Maria Ogg. Washington was born about 1792 in Amherst, Virginia, or about 1803 in Kentucky. I don't know which. And Maria Ogg was born about 1799 in Jefferson, Kentucky, or born 1810, Kentucky. I really don't know. They were supposedly married December 30, 1819 in Jefferson, Kentucky.
Laurinda/Lorinda was married to Isaac Hensley.. He was born in Coles, Illinois on January 29, 1824. He died during battle in the Civil War, in Memphis, Tennessee on May 17, 1864. Laurinda died in Mt. Ayer, Ringgold County, Iowa on November 26, 1890. She was born about 1823 in Letcher, Kentucky.
I am descended through their son, William Cornellis Hensley. He was born April 27, 1856 in Ringgold county, Iowa. He died on September 18, 1939 in Cambria, Wayne County, Iowa. He was married to Minerva Ann Whited. She was born May 1, 1858 in Iowa. She died September 20, 1941 in Woodburn Iowa. They were married January 22, 1880.
Their daughter, my grandmother, was Carrie Bell Hensley. She was born February 4, 1890 in Benton, Iowa, and died July 14, 1977 in Ottumwa, Iowa. She was married on October 3, 1906 to Henry Oscar Perry Tallman. He was born on December 14, 1885 in Mansfield, Missouri. He died on November 10, 1935 in Ottumwa, Iowa. (He was killed by a drunk driver while walking home from work)
Their son, my father, was Cecil Orval Tallman. He was born on February 17, 1911 in Van Wert, Iowa. He died on January 11, 1998 in Sandy, Oregon. He was married to my mother, Edith Virginia Lois Brown on June 19, 1931 in Liberty, Missouri. She was born on February 27, 1914, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and died on March 7, 1997 in Portland, Oregon.
That brings you to me. I am Dorothy Louise Tallman. I was born on November 3, 1942 in Ottumwa, Iowa and married on July 16, 1966 to Petrus Johannes Trock. He was born on May 15, 1941 in Amsterdam, Holland.
Hopefully we can find out more. I have been looking for many years, but was looking for the name Ogles. I only recently found out that it was Oglesby. No wonder I have white hair!! It's all because of genealogy! ??
Anyway, thanks for your help. Hopefully we will be in touch again.
