Will of Reuben Skilton 584In the name of God Amen. I Reu: Skilton of Gochland County do make this my last will & testament in manner following
first I devise that all my just debts be paid out of my Estate by the Executor hereinafter named.
Item I give & devise unto my dear wife Elizabeth my whole Estate both real & personal to her and her heirs forever. But in case I should survive my said wife, & not have any knowledge of her death as I intend for Great Brittain, whereby my Estate would descend to my elder Brother, whom I do not intend to prefer. In such case I give & devise my whole estate both real & personal to my younger Broyr & his Heirs forever.
Item I hereby apoint my friend Colo Will: Randolph my whole & sole Executor hereby revoking all other Wills by me heretofore made.
In witness whereof I hereunto Set my hand and affix my Seal this 15 day of May 1759.
