• Complete name based on 1 Jan 1998 letter from Philip Krusi, and name from Eckart genealogy index.24, Index,1129
• They lived in Alamo/Danville, CA and had a ranch (The Yellowjacket) up at Calistoga, CA. At the time they raised and showed Arabian horses.
Leroy was a very successful businessman (electrical contractor or manufacturer, I don’t recall) and I think his son, George, now has the business which is in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Leroy’s relationship to me was that he and my mother had the same great grandparent from Switzerland.1129
• LeRoy was against the internment of Japanese-Americans during World War II and served as custodian of the property of some of these persons.

• “I [Hermann Krüsi] remember one day with a similarly beautiful morning – possibly fourteen years ago – when our little family, increased by some boarders, one of whom was our trusty friend Dr. Farnham, walked for nearly a mile on the frozen, uneven ice, admiring the little ice-mounds and hills. I suppose little Gertie was too small to accompany us, but she welcomed her good friend Farnham on his return with her sweetest smile as, “Lily Roy” (Le Roy).1127, p 2

• For Miss Ellen Hindes, whose marriage to LeRoy Krusi will take place before the first of the year, Miss Priscilla Krusi will give a luncheon on Saturday, November 15th, at the Herman Krusi home of Central avenue.
Miss Hindes is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stetson Hindes of San Francisco, and the date of the marriage will be definitely set with the return of LeRoy Krusi from Siskiyou county where he is engaged on a big engineering project.
The wedding will be one of the smart affairs of the winter and of interest to society on both sides of the bay, owing to the prominence of both families.1143
