^MARR: GMB states she first married Robert Byrd (b 1681 d. bef 1714), son of Robert Bird and Catherine Holmes. By 1714, Frances was a widow and was remarried, this time, to Robert Ransome. Ransome was dead by 1720.
^ISSUE: Robert Bird died prior to 1714. There is no record of his children, but in his brother William Bird’s will, there is a provision made for his brother’s children out of the lands in King William County. There were two Philemon Birds who were contemporary, one of whom made a will which was proved in the county of Richmond in 1752....
