Rev. Robert Barret
Robert was a son of Charles and Mary Barretof Louisa county. He was a student at William and Mary College. He evidently travelled to England where he was ordained a minister in 1737. On Dec. 25, 1737, he received the royal funds to defray his return passage. He was minister for many years of St. Martin's Parish, Hanover county.
