In the 1900 Census, Kate states she had given birth to five children, all alive. At least one, Robert, was by a previous marriage. Pattie and Kate are daughters of John Rodman. Whether the missing two were children of John is not known. The 1910 Census complicates this by stating she had given birth to nine children, five of whom were alive.
