Decatur, Feb. 19.—Ophelia W. Peddecord, wife of Jasper P. Peddecord, and sister of ex.-Gov. Oglesby, is dead, aged 77. She was a native of Kentucky, and came to Decatur with her brother, ex.-Gov. Oglesby, in 1836. She was connected with prominent families of central Illinois.
