Notes for Mary Elizabeth “Bettie” Taylor
Mary was first married to Mr. Dorsey, who apparently died before 1 June 1850, when Mary appears on the Census as head of household with children M. E., Caleb and J. A. It’s probable that Frank Dorsey, who married Elizbeth Oglesby, is a relative.
Notes for James & Mary Elizabeth “Bettie” (Family)
Caleb and Anna Dorsey.
Notes for Benjamin Asbury & Mary Elizabeth “Bettie” (Family)
An Emma and Stewart Oglesby are living with Benjamin’s family in the 1860 Census; they appear to be the children of Micajah and Jane (?) Oglesby of Monroe County, Kentucky (1850 Census). Relationship to Benjamin is unknown. One WC site has an Emma Dorsey as daughter of James Dorsey and Elizabeth Taylor.

This site (db=:3272433) also has the following as children of Bn and Mary:

Joseph, Hannah, Richard T., Elizabeth and Benjamin.
