Research notes for Jesse Oglesby
Oglesby Paul has "Jesse Washington Oglesby" as the entry in the will. It seems likely that this should be "Jesse, Washington,..". Need to see original to verify. But given Jesse's birth in 1759, well before George Washington became famouse enough for children to be named after him, and the Douglas Register only gives "Jesse", I think it unlikely that this Jesse had a middle name of Washington. jmo
