Wm. S. Gray & Wandalee Walls witnessed as Jean Isobel Anderson, of Winnipeg, Canada, married to James Thomas Shaw in a single ring ceremony performed by the Rev. Lyle Barnett Saturday afternoon at Trinity Episcopal Church in Lander. Miss Jean Isobel Anderson, daughter of Mrs. H.S. Anderson, of Winnipeg, Canada, became the bride of James Thomas Shaw, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Shaw, of Lander. A reception at the home of the groom's parents followed the wedding ceremony, and the newlyweds left on a tour of various points of interest throughout the state. The bride's gown was of white brocade satin, ballerina length, with round scallop neckline. She carried a bouquet of yellow glads. Miss Wandy Walls, friend of the bride from Kelowna, Canada was maid of honor and she was attired in a strapless gown of pale blue dotted swiss jacket and wore yellow carnations. The bride's mother wore a navy blue suit with white trim, and the groom's mother was in attire of green paisley print. The groom was attended by William S. Gray, a cousin from Douglas, Wyo. The bride, whose residence is given as Sorrento, British Columbia, is a registered nurse and has been employed by Dr. E.S. Norton at the Lander Veterinary hospital. She is a graduate of Parksville High School at Parksville, Canada, and the Royal Inland hospital at Kamloops, Canada. The groom is a graduate of Dubois high school and is well-known throughout Fremont County. The church was attractively decorated for the ceremony with yellow and white glads and iris, and the reception table was adorned with Cambridge crystal and white stocks on both sides of the bridal cake.
