• [beginning excerpt] My mom, Sharon Susan Wood, was born on December 19, 1949 to Harold & Frances Wood in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. My grandparents were ministers in a Foursquare church there and had 3 boys, Ron, Dan & Paul and had moved several times prior to Mom’s birth, pastoring churches in Illinois & Indiana. Later her youngest brother, Wes was born. My grandmother had scarlet fever as an infant which caused a weak heart and Mom learned to take care of the home at an early age, often keeping house and making Sunday dinner out of concern for her mom.6212

And yes, they were deeply one!! They met and started dating at 14 and 16 and married at 18 and 20. They were together for much more of life than they were apart! They were also only apart for 3 months while my Papa was in heaven waiting for her, and now they are together which we are grateful for!6211
