• As to the baptism of Homer William Lesher in 1917, I checked the records for the year but did not locate this record. It is possible that the baptism was at Christ Church but was in late 1916 or early 1918.3239

• He changed his name to Harry Peter when he went to Alabama.3833

• I also found a baby picture of H. P. Lesher. Here’s what was stamped on the back of the photograph:

I also found an advertisement from P. H. Lesher’s painting business. According to the advertisement, the business was at E. S. Frantz’s Saddlery Shop, South Front Street, PA.3833

• My mom thinks that H. P. was married about 4 times. I do remember her saying that the family lost touch with H. P. towards the end of his life.3832

I cannot send you a copy of the interment card because of privacy policies but I can tell you that they are the only ones buried on the spaces that they owned. • Abraham M. Sheaffer, of Shiremanstown, died yesterday morning at a local hospital. He was 78 years old.
