• Dea. Thomas Bass settled in Medfield, where he lived five of six years, when he returned to Braintree, was deacon of the church, resided there until his death.
83• Thomas, born in 163-. Dea. Thomas Bass died 8 Jan. 1719/20 in Weymouth, the home of his second wife Susanna (Bates) Blanchard. He married, first, in 1660, Sarah Wood, daughter of Nicholas Wood.
466• Thomas lived in Braintree until 1657, when he removed to Medfield later called Sherborn. In 1674 a deed shows him in ‘Bogestown near the town of Medfield’ on land given him by his father Samuel. Here it appears he had three children born; a daughter Sarah, and Abigail, dates of the first two not given. About 1670 he returned to Braintree and became Deacon of the church.
