I David Witt, of Nelson Co., Va., ......first I give and devise to my beloved wife, Sally Witt, during her natural life all of my estate both real and personal and ..... to my eldest son Dennett Witt; to son....Burgess Witt; to son....David Witt; to son....William Witt; ....Item: after the death of my wife Sally Witt I give to my daughter Celia Oglesby, one negro woman named Gillah. I also give to my grand daughter Nancy and Sarah Oglesby daughters of my said daughter Celia Oglesby, a negro child named Nully to be divided between them in such manner as they may think proper when they become of age or marry, which bequest I give to them and their heirs forever...... [then of what was left of the estate he gave to be shared by]: Dennett Witt, Ann Sparks Fitzpatrick, Celia Oglesby, Linny Wade and Burgess Witt for Dice Hamlet, [Dice for name Candice] his daughter.
