It named her sisters Ann; Mary; Winnifred (dec'd); and brothers John and Charles (dec'd). Also named were her nieces (John's daughters) Fanny and Aly; and her nephew John (son of John). It refers to "my part of my father's estate," so he--whoever he was--had died before 14 Sep 1773. Executors were Richard Bennett and Hugh Rice Morris. Witnesses: James and Mary Garland [Mary Garland's maiden name was Rice, according to Woods' History of Albemarle Co., Virginia. He also says Mary and James Garland were the first Garlands in Albemarle.], Matthew Moon, and William Watson. (One William Watson of Hanover Co., Virginia, married a Martha Pleasants in 1767.)
