• Mrs. Giblin of Irish Grove passed away last Saturday. The funeral was held at the Grove Cemetery, Father Kearney officiating. Five children survive her, two sons living in California, one daughter and a son living in Iowa, and one unmarried daughter at home. She was 85 years old. [6164, p 3]
• I am mailing you a number of pages from the book, which came from the Middlebury College Library. I am sending you the page with Patrick Giblin, wife Margaret Dunn, godparents Myles O’Brien and Catherine Hammel, for baby Margaret Giblin baptized October 3, 1832. On that same page there is a Patrick Giblin married to Margaret O’Brien with babies baptized in 1834, 1836, and 1838. [6210]
