• Archange was born 22 Oct 1797 “on the river” and died in 1883 (being 89 years of age then). Archange was the first baptism administered by Rev. Gabriel Richard after the celebrated priest arrived in Detroit. She ws one of eleven children born to Pierre Meny and his second wife, Marie Anne Petit.
