• Glen Amos Wilbur, 49, widely known Sutter county rancher and member of a pioneer family, died Monday morning in Rideout hospital after failing to rally following an emergency operations. Wilbur was stricken suddenly at his ranch home on Pease road north of Yuba City, and rushed to the hospital when it was found an appendix operation would be necessary. The operation was performed Sunday.5896
