• There was no estate record for Elizabeth Hay or Sarah Newton in Medina County, Ohio. [6150]
• One of the things I was curious about was whether Sarah Hay actually married John Loomis, thus producing Jonathan Loomis Hay, or whether this was a case of “smoke-screen by Bible.” In fact, Sarah married both John Loomis and Charles Newton in Wayne Co., Ohio. I found both records, although Sarah’s last name was erroneously transcribed as “Hoy.” [6150]
