Individual Notes
• Surname is difficult to read.
[5062]• Her mother’s name is spelled “Margarete V---est”?
[5638]• Maiden name may be Vickert. “I did get her [Theresa King Haupt] death certificate and her mother is listed as Marguerite Vickert.
[5633], [5663]• Maggie is listed as a stepdaughter here [1900 census], which was when it really clicked that George Weigart may have been her real dad and she was raised by Henry.
[5671, p 2]• My Aunt Flora (mom’s oldest sister) she is one of 3 girls, who was born in 1919 remembers Marguerite King slightly. She was around 4 when she died. She remembers they had to keep her ankles wrapped because they were grossly swollen.
[5671, p 2]• Maiden name given as Margaret Gniesmer.
[6001]• I haven’t done much in the way of research in awhile and don’t remember where we left off. I know that a number of our ancestros are in Mount Carmel Cemetery on O’Donnell Street in Baltimore including my Theresa and William Haupt, Maggie and Frederick King, a couple of children that died very young. There are Maddens in there, Henry Heiss, Henry and Magdalena Gneismer. They are all over that cemetery and it is a mess, but that’s a whole other story. Maggie was buried 11/30/1934, died of chronic myocarditis. Henry Gneismer was buried 4/22/1913, age 82 8 m 15 days, St. Joseph Hospital, drowning accident (can’t find newspaper article of this). Henry Heiss died at 42 of Tuberculosis (he was Maggie King’s sister’s son). Magdalena was buried 3/16/1886, died of neuralgia of stomach. There is in the way of Maddens: Richard C buried 2/9/1891 age 2 months, 1303 E. Baltimore St, convulsions. Walter Madden buried 2/17/1891 3y 4m 1303 E. Baltimore St, croup. Maggie Madden buried 1/2/1892, 15 days old, 1302 E. Bath St, asthma. Wm T. Madden buried 10/23/1890, 40 years old, married, 1227 Holland St, heart disease. Terry
