I can’t add any factual information to add to that you already have so my opinion as to whether they are the same as the Daniel VanTrees and Rebecca in your data is no better than yours. It would appear likely but more proof is required.
This family is way out on my family tree. My gggg grandfather was Georg Goosehorn from his daughter Sussanah. Rebecca Pearson is a descendant of his from his daughter, Kate. I have not done any research on Rebecca myself. The information was given to me by Elva Marie (Goshorn) Wriker, a longtime Goshorn/Gooshorn researcher. The information was on family group records compiled by E. B. Hazie and Jodell M. Rieter. Mrs. Wriker’s contacts were Betty Leona (Yount) Pack, Hurley, NM and Susan Carol (von Fossen) Iacopina, Billings, MT. These contacts were more than ten years ago so may no longer be available.4236
