• The community of Prescott was saddened Tuesday evening by the sudden death of Roy K. Mills at his farm home southeast of the village. Mr. Mills was born in Ontario, Canada, but spent most of his life here. He was 56 years of age at the time of his death.
Surviving are his wife, who is a patient at the Osteopathic Hospital, Saginaw, following an operation; three children, one daughter, Mrs. Brennan and two sons, Eugene and Harold. Another son George Mills, was a member of the ill-fated crew of the Navy Seaplane that was lost on the Pacific coast a few months ago.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon from the home with interment in Richland cemetery.
Mr. Mills was well known and highly respected in this community. We join with the many friends in extending our deepest sympathy. [3404]
