• Rev. William Williams was one of the most outstanding colonial ministers, graduating from Harvard College at the age of 18. He was affiliated with the church at Hatfield, MA at the age of 21. Rev. Williams published many sermons including works on ordinations to the ministry and even funeral sermons. His “Election Sermon” of 1719 and his “Convention Sermon” of 1726 achieved some popularity.1846, p 219
