Individual Notes
• Thomas Rogers, and Joseph his sone; his other children came afterwards.3150, p 10

• Thomas1 Rogers, the Mayflower Passenger, who died in the first sickness, made his journey to the new world with his son Joseph, who survived. His wife did not come to America. Gov. Bradford says “The rest of Thomas Rogers came over, & are maried, & have many children.” According to Bowman, and substantiated by later research, only one of the children who came later has been identified, viz.: John2 Rogers, who married Ann Churchman.3848

• The only children of Thomas Rogers to have known descendants are Joseph Rogers who married Hannah, and John Rogers who married Anna Churchman. Just about every other Rogers in New England has been incorrectly tied to Thomas Rogers of the Mayflower in some publication or another.3409, p 3
