• Peter Condit was born at Newark, NJ in 1698 or 1699. Early in life, Peter became a resident of Morristown, NJ where he acquired property, and where some, if not all, of his children were born. At the formation of the First Presbyterian Church in Morristown, in 1741, he and his wife were among its first communicants, and continued to be steadfast supporters of the organization until their deaths.5219
