• Sylvia’s grandmother, Fredricka Zamsov, had a rough voyage coming to America at age 18. Took 3 weeks to get here. Her father, August, had a violin factory in Germany. Her birth city is spelled two different ways in her notes: Schettine and Stettine. [6381]

• Stettin [then]…Szczecin [now] is the capital and largest city of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in northwestern Poland. Located near the Baltic Sea and the German border, it is a major seaport, the largest city of northwestern Poland, and seventh-largest city of Poland. • I only got to Baltimore and Greenmount cemeteries. At Baltimore I was able to locate John and Ricka’s graves. John’s is marked, Ricka’s is not. [6029]

• I have continued to look for information on John Michael Reinig, but as you told me, he is just not to be found in other than the 1870 census and the various Baltimore directories listing his occupation and address. [6970]
