• Sophronia Clark widow of Isaiah Clark of Fabius died in Syracuse May 22, 1879, aged 68 years & 9 mos; mother of Mrs. M.H. Barber of Syracuse. Services at No. 26 Noxon St. at 10:00 on Sat. 24th and at the Baptist church in Fabius at 1 PM. [7474]
• She was born in Madison County, aged 53 in 1865, mother of 7 children. Isaiah was 20 years older than she. Her grandson, Clifford Morgan (1882-1973) told this writer that she married a third time and lived in Cortland Co., probably Preble, N.Y. He said that he knew nothing about her but Winfield Scammell (1875-1970) understand the relationship even though he had forgotten its details. [7477]
