• On 3 December 1711, probably at Plainfield, Ephraim married a woman whose first name was Mary. She was probably born about 1692, died at Canaan 16 december 1774. Ephraim moved from Ipswich to Plainfield with his parents, then to Canaan in northwestern Connecticut about 1738-40. The westward trek was already underway.2342, p 22
