• Had eleven children, including sons John, Henry, Peter, David, William, Washington, Daniel.4647

• They lived there [Columbiana County, Ohio] thirteen years, then removed to this county [Jay], locating on section 22, Wabash Township, where the father entered eighty acres of land from the Government. He lived upon that farm until his death. He was born in Schuykill County, Pennsylvania, in April, 1790, was a shoemaker in early life but later followed farming. He died in 1865, and is buried at the cemetery situated on the State line.4646, p 644

• Jacob Walter, whose grandparents came from Germany, his mother being a bound girl, married Susannah Ruble [sic] in 1810. They moved from Pennsylvania to Columbiana Co. Ohio with ten children.4649
