Individual Notes
• George Schaeffer II recalls the third child of Mary and William being Frances.963

• What also moved me to action is the realization that Aunt Frances Boughton will be 100 years of age on Dec. 14, 2001. We visited her in Teaneck on 10/30/01, with her daughter Marylin and husband Jim (Evers). Aunt Frances is VERY WELL, spry, lucid, talkative, interested, and interesting. She acts as if she was 75-80; only uses a cane from some help in walking, but is otherwise very much a spry, talkative and involved person.3150

• Frances also claimed that she never had a grandfather but that her grandmother (this would be Marylin’s great grandmother lived in Connecticut and seldom visited.
We have no Bibles and no documents, just photos. So we’re at a dead end here, and Frances doesn’t talk on the phone any more because she can’t hear. She will write once in a while but the letters are getting harder to read as her mind is starting to slip.5354

• This is your grandpa’s only sister. Her birthday is 12/14/1901 and yes I saw her in May and at 104 1/2 she is still fairly sharp and very pleasant.5363

• Aunt Frances stayed in her own home until when she broke her hip at about 99 yr old. Can’t remember the exact timing but she chose to go to VT to be near him and his family.5363

• Frances Amelia Boughton, 108, died May 15, 2010 at Genesis Mountain View Center. She was born Dec 14, 1901 in Jersey City, NJ. In Teaneck, NJ, Mrs Boughton was employed by a nursery school for many years until retiring at the age of 82. She was an active member of Teaneck Community Church and enjoyed volunteering at church functions. Survivors include a son, Rovert Boughton of Rutland, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Howard Boughton, in 1981, and a daughter, Marilyn Evers in 2008.
Burial will be in George Washington Memorial Cemetery in Paramus, NJ.8507
