• Immediately preceding this [Elizabeth Maryfield] family in the census return, an Isaac Simpson, aged 30, and his wife are recorded. Isaac, like Elizabeth Maryfield, was born in England and belonged to the Church of England. Since there were relatively few natives of England in Mosa at the time, and in view of the proximity in the returns, one may speculate that Elizabeth’s maiden name may have been Simpson. [4, p 3], [2376, p 2]
• Death date based on her absence in Census: Barnabas living in Marysville with son, Hamilton, without her. [1690]
