It would be a strange family, would it not, without one “lady in waiting?” Well, the most of you know me as that one. Especially is this true of Uncle Henry, who cannot quite forgive me for having to wait so long himself to perform a ceremony of which he is very fond.
I am very happy with my family of nearly 400 children. I have so many servants who care for them in the best homes of the city from 3:30 P. M. to 9 A. M., besides all of Sat. and Sun. that they are not the care and worry to me that a few are to some people.
Then I have two months in the year to travel and otherwise enjoy myself so I am thankful and contented.
Surely we all ought to be the former, for our blessings as a family have been many. Here is hoping they may continue.
