Seely was legal adviser in the state department of finance. Previously, he had served as a deputy district attorney and conducted a private practice in Sacramento.
A native of New Brunswick, Canada, Seely graduated from St. Mary’s College and was admitted to the state bar in 1935 after graduating at California Law School.
Entombment will be in the East Lawn Mausoleum.2821

His stepfather, Charles Howe Anderson also resides in Sacramento. He is a graduate of the University of California and the Boalt Hall of Law and is state vice president of the Exchange Club.2822

Louise attended Miss Burke’s and was graduated from Stanford, where she was a Delta Gamma. Her brother is Capt. William Redington Hewlett, U. S. A., now stationed in Arlington, Va. His spouse is the former Flora Larson of Berkeley.
