• Between 1820 and 1830 Daniel McQueen (son of Peter McQueen Sr. of the town of Comrie, Perthshire, Scotland) arrived in St. Clair county. He was the husband of Catherine (nee “Lamberson”) McQueen. Daniel and Catherine’s son, Daniel Jr., married Jane Stewart, daughter of Harvey Stewart and Mary Gravereat. As you probably know, the Stewart, McQueen and Harsen families were early settlers on and around Harsen’s Island.8087, p 1
