• Mrs. Olive A. Maxson, widow of Daniel H. Maxson, died April 20th, at the home of her daughter Mrs. Geo. M. Brown, in Mexico City, Mexico.
The cause of her death was Pneumonia and came very suddenly after a brief illness of only five days.
Mrs. Maxson and her husband were among the early settlers of Humboldt, having taken a homestead there in 1866.
The deceased served as a nurse in Woodward hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio during the civil war and was seventy three years and one month old at the time of her death.
The only near relatives who survive her, are one son, Mr. D. H. Maxon, of 1605 O. St Lincoln, a daughter Mrs. Geo. M. Brown of Mexico City, Mexico and a sister Mrs. M. M. Mills of Marysville, Michigan.
