• Mr. H. removed to Canada with his parents, who settled on the banks of the St. Lawrence, nearly opposite Ogdensburgh, in or about the year 1785. At his death he had lived with his wife 55 years. Mr. H. was a thrifty farmer, and gave to each of his sons 200 acres of land. The old settlers used to call him Mr. Holliburt. The old farm formerly occupied by Mr. H. and where all his children were born and raised, is still called home by his descendants. Fourteen of his children loved to be men and women; four were ministers of the Gospel; two were lawyers; three were farmers.1874, p 202
