Individual Notes
• David Bissell is a descendant of John Bissell (1591-1677), who came to Plymouth Colony in 1628 from Somerset County, England, then moved to Windsor, Connecticut in 1640. David (1742-1826) married Sarah Goodrich in 1766 and left his Connecticut home for Maitland, Ontario at the close of the Revolutionary War. Four generations of Bissells have now lived in Maitland.1886
