• We spent a few hours in the Land record office in Prescott and found no land in the Robinson name until 21 Aug. 1837 when John Martin sold 2 acres, the SW corner of the West 1/2 of Lot 18 in Concession 3 to Desire Robinson. Remember John Martin had married Annis Nettleton, a sister of Desire, and was a brother-in-law. He was selling most of his land to a George Lane at this time and was about the time he went to Ogle Co. Ill.
Desire Robinson kept this 2 acres until 1 Apr. 1865 when she sold it to a Charles Whitney.
1710, p 2• Letter from H. B. Robinson says mother (Desire) failing very fast (April 17, 1874).
