• Mrs. Alice N. Hawkins, wife of a former Woodside councilman, died Monday at Sequoia Hospital after a long bout with cancer. She was 63.
Mrs. Hawkins, a native of Palo Alto, had lived at 161 Greer Road, Woodside, for 24 years. She was a graduate of Stanford University and was a member of Chi Omega.
She is survived by her husband, Fredrick, an attorney with offices in San Francisco who once served on the Woodside City Council; a son, Charles, of Foster City; a daughter, Mrs. Alison Montarez [sic] of La Honda; Phillip Neff of Los Angeles; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Borden and Mrs Julie Newcomb of California, and Mrs. Amie Alden, of Tennessee; and four grandchildren.
