• Captain Thomas R. Martin’s family, of West Oakland, accompanied by Miss Alice Walter, of Vallejo, intend summering at Lakes Donner and Tahoe.653

• The bride is the daughter of Fred Walter, of this place, and has deserted a most devoted school in Ventura too take this new step in life. The wedding trip will be to Monterey and vicinity, and after returning, Mr. Harrier will erect a dwelling for himself and wife on Georgia street.654

• Mrs. Alice Walter Harrier, wife of V. V. Harrier, well known real estate dealer, died today at her home, 1400 Waverley street. She was native of Sacramento, and had resided here for 28 years, and was long socially prominent.
She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Mrs. A. W. Lewis of Seattle; two sisters, Mrs. W. R. Eckart of Pasadena and Mrs. Anne Wilson of Vallejo, and a brother, Frederick Walter of Guerneville.
Funeral services will be private.655

Death early today claimed Victor Virgil Harrier, 78, Palo Alto real estate operator, who passed away at his home, 1400 Waverley street.
Friends are invited to attend funeral services Saturday morning at 11 o’clock in the family residence. Interment will follow at Alta Mesa Memorial Park.
Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Fannie Adele Harrier; a daughter, Mrs. Lester W. Lewis of Seattle, and a nephew, Gregory Harrier of Berkeley.
Mr. Harrier was born in Virginia City, Nev. He spent his youth in Vallejo, and came to Palo Alto in 1906.658

Marriage Notes
• The marriage of Victor V. Harrier and Miss Alice M. Walter took place Monday afternoon at two o’clock, at the residence of the bride’s parents. The double parlors of the Walter mansion made one grand room decorated in the most magnificent manner with flowers and green branches.654
