• A farmer; lived in Ct. and Lafayette, N. Y. He was of Charlton in 1802, and of Pompey in 1805 and ‘13.3660

• Ezekiel’s 8 children all lived here and intermarried with other local families. He was called “Captain” and applied for a Revolutionary pension in 1831, according to one record I have. Interestingly his birth is given as Dec 25, 1758, but in his brother Noah’s Bible, it is given as Dec. 25, 1760.5177

• [He] was a younger brother of Noah Hoyt who came here in 1802 and settled on the northeast corner of Reidy Hill and LaFayette Roads on what has been for over 125 years the Gorman farm.5179

• The following are the first pew owners who purchased their pews at the auction of February, 1821:
