• Word was received in this city late last night that a well known and highly respected former resident of this city, Mrs. Charles M. Gorham, died at her home in Berkeley yesterday at the ripe old age of 91 years. Mrs. Gorham’s husband was for years accountant at the old Empire Foundry here and also cashier of the United States mint at San Francisco. Here brother-in-law, George C. Gorham, was secretary of the United States senate. The time and place of the funeral will be announced later.8468
