• At 1921 Thanksgiving dinner, 3014 Clay Street, San Francisco.
172• Signed guest book at wedding of Joy Folger Matteson and Eleanor Carlisle Eckart.
6302• He attended the University [of California] where he was a member of Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity and is in business in San Francisco.
6397• The business (the cannery) had been sold profitably some time before his death. I rather thought that was the case as my own Hume ancestors, and even myself, carried forward profit from the old Hume businesses.
4542• On the following page, there is more inaccurate information. It states that Raymond Hume ran the Hume Canneries. There was only one Hume Cannery at that time and it was sold in 1968. My father’s portion of the receipts from this sale supported both he and my mother Margaret until their deaths in 1975 (my father) and 1978 (my mother).
I am enjoying reading the information of the Eckart Family. It is very informative to me.
6679• My father and mother were being supported by trusts (set up at the time of the sale of the Hume Company in 1968) when they died in 1975 (father) and 1978 (mother).
