• Baptism - 7 April 1805 - Baptism of Isaac Roberts Eckart, son of Jonathan tobacconist and Elizabeth. Born 15 March 1805. Present were Jonathan Eckart, father, Eliza Eckart, mother, Isaac Roberts Godfather, John Reinhart Godfather, Mary Wilson Godmother.22

• Attended Garden Street School, July 1817.8334

• Marriage at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Quebec City. Present were Andrew Torrance, Claude Denechan, James Gibb, and Robert Shaw. This is the first mention of any of the orphaned children after the death of their parents in 1812.22

• While Isaac Roberts had changed from ‘merchant’ to ‘master brewer,’ his signature in the record shows that it was the same man.22

• “Extra Assistant” in the Office of Governor General from 1st November, 1838, to 31st May, 1839, at £270 Sterling per annum.3848

• Burial witnesses were Robert Shaw, brother-in-law of the deceased and H. C. Stevenson, son-in-law of the deceased.22

• Miss Mary Nelson of the City of Quebec, aged sixty-three years, died on the nineteenth and was buried on the twenty-second of January in the Year of our Lord, One thousand eight hundred & twenty-nine. Who is Mary Nelson?8332
