• He resided in Leyden at the foot of Frizzell Hill. For some years after the incorporation of the district of Leyden, the mail for that place was carried by Mr. Burnham from Greenfield, he making the trip on foot.1216

• Mr. Burnham inherited all this father’s landed estate and one-half the personal estate of £8,246 10s. 11d.636
