2620 He was probably the Stephen Congdon who was Ensign of the South Kingstown [unclear] Company in 1801 and Lieutenant in that company in 1802. He was Justice of the Court of Common Pleas for Washington County in 1810. His first wife, whom he married about 1787 was named Susan. He married second Martha Peckham, daughter of Timothy and Susannah (Congdon) Peckham.
