• She married Henry Mills, and when the rest of her family moved to Ontario, she stayed in Nova Scotia. Elizabeth and Henry Mills had twelve children, who were all apparently born in Nova Scotia.
979• She remained in Nova Scotia when the others of her family moved to Upper Canada.
978• The oldest daughter, Elizabeth, had married Henry Mills in 1808, and she did not go with them, but remained at what is now known as Leamington.
989• Old Mrs. Mills was a Lumley, her people all moved to Ontario. Mrs. Mills was but 17 years old when with her young husband she began life on the back lots of what is now Capt. Mills’ home, and not withstanding the hardships of her life, she lived to see her great-grandchildren, her husband having died some years before, Mr. Silas Mills of Parrsboro, N.S. is one of her sons.
