• Unconfirmed that he committed suicide while in prison in Pennsylvania. Place of death given as Lainburg, Pennsylvania (cremated).340 No indication of suicide on death certificate.418

• TARRYTOWN, May 27.––A pair of hitchhikers, one of whom claimed to be the adopted son of a retired Michigan railroad president, and the other, a son of an Army officer, are lodged in County Jail today, awaiting Grand Jury action on grand larceny charges.
They were arrested by Ossining police yesterday on a stolen car charge after a chase from Tarrytown in which several shots were fired. Taken to Tarrytown Police Headquarters they gave their names as Robert Edgar Mills, 18, of Marysville, Mich., and Donald Kennedy, 18, of Fort Preble, Maine.7936

Mr. Mills was born Aug. 11, 1920, in Ann Arbor. A graduate of Marysville High School and a former Marysville resident, he was the son of the late Myron W. Mills.
He is survived by his mother and a sister, Mrs. Thomas D. Currie, both of Marysville.7699
