• Nevertheless, it is possible that she was born at Thamesville as the register states, but the writer suspects that “Thamesville” was written by someone in error for “Wardsville”; both places are on the Thames River and they are only 15 miles apart.5

• The daughter Diana does not appear here [1861 Mosa census]. It is quite unlikely that she was married when this census was taken, since she would then have been only about 14 years old; perhaps she had gone to the United States to live with one or other of her siblings who were resident there at the time.4 [Yes, living with brother, Nelson.1662]
